- “Freelancer” means a User providing services via Jigz.
- “Client” means a User seeking to hire a Freelancer via Jigz.
- “Location-based matching” means our system that connects Freelancers to Clients based on their geographic proximity and service preferences.
2. Acceptance & Modification of Terms
- These Terms are effective upon your first use of the Service.
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting.
- Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
- We may also notify users of significant changes via email or in-app messaging.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal adulthood in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
- You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Accounts & Registration
4.1. Registration
- Provide accurate, current information during registration and keep it updated.
4.2. Account Security
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Location-Based Matching
- Jigz uses your geographic data to connect Freelancers with nearby Clients.
- By enabling location access, you consent to our use of that data for matching purposes.
- You may update or delete your location at any time.
6. Fees & Payments
6.1. Service Usage
- Using Jigz may involve service fees, subscription charges, or transaction fees.
- All such fees will be clearly presented before payment.
- By proceeding with any payment, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable charges.
6.2. Payment Methods

- Clients are solely responsible for ensuring timely and successful payment of all fees unless otherwise explicitly stated.
6.3. Refunds & Disputes
- All payments made through Jigz are final and non-refundable, regardless of usage, account status, or service outcome.
- Jigz does not provide refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Cancellations
- Dissatisfaction
- Disputes between Clients and Freelancers
- Unused services/coins
- Disputes related to deliverables, quality of work, or payments between Clients and Freelancers must be resolved directly between the parties.
- Jigz is not responsible for mediating, reimbursing, or compensating Users in such cases.
- For other disputes involving platform usage or fees, resolution will follow the procedures outlined in our Dispute Resolution section.
7. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Violate any law or regulation.
- Harass, abuse, defame, or threaten others.
- Post false, misleading, or infringing content.
- Interfere with the Service's systems or introduce malware.
- Circumvent payments or avoid applicable fees.
- Impersonate others or falsify your identity.
8. Terminating, Suspending, and Deleting Accounts
- Violations may result in account suspension or termination, at our discretion.
- Users may delete their accounts through account settings.
- Upon termination, your license to access the Service ends immediately.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
- All content, design, logos, software, and trademarks on the Service are owned by or licensed to Jigz.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior consent.
10. User-Provided Content
- Freelancers may post profiles, portfolios, and service listings; Clients may post jobs or requests.
- You retain ownership of your content but grant Jigz a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it in connection with the Service.
- Do not post content you do not have the rights to.
11. Liability Limitations
- Jigz is provided “as is” and “as available”—no warranties implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- In jurisdictions that do not allow certain exclusions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
- Our practices for data collection, storage, and use are described in our separate Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference.
13. Third-Party Links & Services
- Our Service may contain links to third-party sites.
- We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
