Welcome to Jigz.co (“Jigz,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your legal agreement to use our online platform and services (collectively, the “Platform”), which connects Clients and Freelancers based on geographical proximity.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Jigz Platform, you acknowledge that:
- You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- You accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you disagree with any part of them, do not use the Platform, as use of the Platform is taken as acceptance of these terms.
2. Eligibility & Your Account
- You must register for and maintain an account (“Account”) to access or use certain Platform features.
- You represent and warrant that all registration information is accurate, current, and complete.
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- All activities occurring under your Account.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account or breach of security.
You may not:
- Share your Account.
- Allow others to use your credentials.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
We reserve the absolute right, at our sole discretion, to suspend, disable, or permanently remove your Account at any time, with or without notice, and for any reason or no reason whatsoever.
3. Scope of License & Restrictions
3.1 Limited License
- Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Platform for facilitating freelance services (for Clients) or offering services (for Freelancers).
3.2 Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform.
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform.
- Circumvent platform functionalities or harvesting mechanisms (e.g., scraping data).
- Facilitate or support any third-party violations of these Terms.
4. User Roles & Conduct
4.1 User Obligations
- Client: Posts project listings, hires freelancers, makes payments, and provides timely feedback.
- Freelancer: Submits proposals, performs work per agreement, and delivers to Clients.
All users must:
- Act honestly and responsibly.
- Respect intellectual property and privacy of others.
- Abide by applicable local laws and regulations.
4.2 Prohibited Uses
Do not use the Platform to:
- Engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or credentials.
- Violate intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Interfere with Platform functionality.
- Solicit payments or interactions outside of the Platform (i.e., “off-net” deals) that circumvent Platform policies, unless explicitly permitted.
Usage of Jigz for these purposes will result in instant account suspension and may result in an account ban.
5. Payments, Coins & Fees
- Access to certain features of the Platform requires the use of Jigz Coins, which must be purchased in advance or received as part of a membership allocation.
- Coins are required for specific actions on the Platform, including (but not limited to): posting jobs, applying to jobs, posting services, inquiring about services, and accepting services.
- Coins are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no monetary or cash value outside the Platform. Once purchased or allocated, Coins cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or converted back into money or credit under any circumstances.
Jigz may charge service fees, whether percentage-based or fixed, on certain transactions or activities between Clients and Freelancers. Any such fees will be clearly disclosed at the time of payment or usage.
Users are solely responsible for paying all applicable fees, charges, and taxes, and for providing accurate billing and payment information.
By purchasing Coins or paying any fees on the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that all payments are final and Jigz does not offer refunds, reimbursements, or credits for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Unused Coins
- Account suspension or removal
- Disputes between Clients and Freelancers
- Dissatisfaction with services rendered
Jigz reserves the right to change coin pricing, service fees, and payment structures at any time without prior notice.
6. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Platform (excluding your content) is owned by Jigz or its licensors.
- By using the Platform, you do not acquire ownership rights to any Platform content.
- You grant Jigz a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use and display your content as needed to operate the Platform.
- You confirm you have the necessary rights to upload and license any content you submit.
7. Third-Party Content & Linking
- The Platform may contain links to external sites.
- We are not responsible for the content, services, or practices of such third parties.
- Engagement with third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
8. Disclaimers
- The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for purpose, uninterrupted or error-free service).
- We do not guarantee project outcomes, payment security, or user conduct.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law
Jigz, its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners disclaim all liability for any and all losses, damages, claims, expenses, costs, injuries, or consequences of any kind whatsoever arising out of or related to:
- Your access to or use of the Platform
- Any interaction, transaction, or relationship between Clients and Freelancers
- Any content, services, or information provided on or through the Platform
- Any interruption, suspension, malfunction, error, omission, delay, or failure of the Platform
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions, data, or Account
- Acts or omissions of other users or third parties
By using the Platform, you expressly agree that Jigz shall not be responsible or liable for any damages, losses, or claims of any kind, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Termination & Suspension
- These Terms remain effective while you use the Platform.
- We may suspend or terminate your Account at any time, without notice or liability, if you violate the Terms.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ends immediately; relevant sections herein survive termination.
11. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration
- Disputes shall first be addressed via written notice and attempted informal resolution.
- If unresolved within 30 days, disputes are to be resolved by binding individual arbitration, unless prohibited by law.
- Arbitration reflects expedited, confidential, and final adjudication, with limited court review.
- Users waive rights to jury trials and class actions.
- Exceptions (e.g., IP infringement, defamation) may be litigated in court.

12. Copyright Policy (DMCA or Local Equivalent)
We respect IP rights. A takedown notice may be submitted to our designated Copyright Agent (copyright@jigz.co) and must include:
- Signature and contact details
- Identification of the work and infringing content
- Statement of good-faith belief and accuracy under penalty of perjury
Misuse of this process may result in liability.
13. Changes to Terms
- We may modify these Terms by posting updated text and providing notice (e.g., via email or in-app alert).
- Changes become effective 30 calendar days after notice.
- Continued use after changes implies acceptance.
14. Electronic Communications
- Agreements, notices, and communications delivered electronically are binding, equivalent to written communications.
15. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and referenced policies constitute the entire agreement with respect to your use of the Platform.
- Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remainder stands.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights without our consent. We may freely assign these Terms.
16. Jigz Coin System
16.1 General Rules
- Jigz operates on a coin-based credit system (“Coins”).
- Coins are the only means of accessing key Platform features such as posting jobs, applying to jobs, or engaging services.
- Coins are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no monetary or cash value outside the Jigz Platform.
- Coins can only be obtained by:
- Purchasing them directly through Jigz
- Receiving the free monthly allocation (where applicable)
16.2 Membership Levels & Coin Caps
Your monthly coin balance is subject to the following membership tier caps:
- Free Monthly Users: 12 coins/month (cap: 25 coins)
- Freelancer: 24 coins/month (cap: 55 coins)
- Professional: 50 coins/month (cap: 150 coins)
- Expert: 110 coins/month (cap: 400 coins)
- Elite: 250 coins/month (cap: 1,000 coins)
Unused monthly coins may not carry over beyond the applicable cap.
16.3 Coin Usage & Costs
Coins are deducted whenever you perform certain actions on the Platform:
- Applying for a Job = 2 Coins
- Posting a Job = 3 Coins
- Posting a Service = 10 Coins
- Inquiring to a Service = 1 Coin
- Accepting a Service = 2 Coins
16.4 Restrictions & Conditions
- Jigz may adjust coin costs, caps, or allocations at any time without prior notice.
- Attempting to manipulate or circumvent the coin system (including creating multiple accounts to gain free allocations) may result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal.
- In the case of account removal/suspension, you will lose all coins in your account.
- Coins do not represent a contract for services. They are a mechanism to access Jigz features.
- Jigz is not responsible for disputes or dissatisfaction arising from services obtained through coin usage.

- Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information—and is incorporated herein by reference.
